Central Ohio | I run a Mchale now but had a Massey 4160 before. We have had the same problems in wheat that was long stemmed and mature. One trick we learned is, when you start a bale slow the rpm’s to about 60% and fill the pickup to capacity. Something about full capacity and slower rpm’s gets the bale started instead of just balling right at the bottom roller. Hope it works cause it’s frustrating when it doesn’t. | |
