 NW Iowa | shrink, dry charge, and can combine as late as i like.
I start at 26% and am usually done by 19%.
Drying when it's 80 - 90 degrees is pretty cheap, esp with 3 phase mid american rates.
Bins are tool to use.
I prefer not to use them, but they can and do make money.
It works for me. Total cost on average is about a penny/point starting that wet.
Don't like waiting for it to dry, esp corn on corn.
I want to take a green stalk.
Edit i will say this. You need to get .20 over spot price to store them.
I try and aim for 30 cents minimum.
