Southeast WI | Have fun but I would have planned that trip in late August after a lot of people have left!
Stop in Whitefish. Fun place to visit but we've only been there skiing in winter/spring and it's crowded enough then. If looking for good bar eats like we have here go to the Great Northern Bar plus stop at Blackstar Brew Pub across the street on the corner for a pint and take alongs. Good beer.
Take the 15 min drive up to Whitefish Mtn Resort and take chairlift to the top for some spectacular views of Glacier Park and can have a meal, snack, beverages at the summit house. Well worth the little bit of money for the day!
