| I bought a car from a dealer. My down payment check hadn’t cleared 3 months later. Eventually they went to chain dialing the wife and me saying they had lost it and needed a wire transfer immediately. It was a very busy week for me and I finally told the guy I’m just mailing you another check you didn’t figure it out for 3 months it can’t be that big of an emergency.
I think they got the last laugh though because I started getting calls about extended warranty immediately after. Like 4-5 calls a day. The finance guy was already sore with me because I wouldn’t buy it and he acted like I had kicked his dog. Anyways I think they fed my info to every shady warranty company there is. | |
