I always have a hard time understanding the math with this stuff.

An acre of soil at 3% OM has about 60,000 lbs of organic matter, about 9,000 lbs will be in the active fraction “food source” that readily turns over, and about 1,500 lbs will be the actual microbes. I have a hard time believing that a few dozen lbs of sugar will make an actual difference.


Add a teaspoon of sugar to a cup of coffee. Both are coffee and can drink both but one is preferred consumption.
