Central ND | IDK, Take in the lift bridge in Duluth.. Watch the ships come in and out....walk the piers to the light houses and walk across the lift bridge. Geta visual of the shipping ports on the waters edge as well as piles of taconite awaiting shipment. Get a up close visual to the large SHIPS and barges doing the big heavy hauling on the waters there... There is a railroad museum and an aquarium in the lift bridge area too. Nice scenic drive up the north shore and several light houses along the way. Gooseberry falls is a NICE place to visit the gushing water stream! | |
