West Central IN | It’s time to hire an employee on our farm. My dad is ready to retire and I need help. We’re a mid size row crop farm and I have a small hay business and do farm drainage work as well. I need someone that is able or teachable to run a combine, planter, semi truck, etc as well as not being above sweeping out a grain bin, manning a shovel making tile connections, running a weed eater and helping with hay as well. I don’t expect an employee to have the same drive and passion as I do, but I do want someone who’s wanting to stick it out for the long term and someone that I can call a coworker who is fun to work with. I’m happy to pay a competitive wage with perks. Where should I start my search? Put a post on Facebook, job site like Indeed? | |
