Faunsdale, AL | Mitsubishi was the first manufacturer that built them that I know of. They supplied those things world wide. Saw a ton of them in Russia in 2001-ish time frame. Huge apartment blocks had at least half of the units with one on the wall beside the little balcony.
First ones I ever saw were when a neighbor of mine put 4 of them in his old antebellum house for the bedrooms upstairs. I helped him get them running several times once they were a few years old. They weren’t bullet proof or anything. Probably had as much trouble from not being used regularly as anything. | |
