Seems like an extreme use of funds. However....... if you think that each person's life is worth $1 million, and you keep one person from having a tragic accident..... then maybe it was worth it..... ???
Wow. Now that's a stretch. Quite a sales pitch, though, to spend tax money foolishly.
That's the problem with most government bodies now (federal, state, county, city, schools)- ran by people that can't balance their own checkbook. Spend it for the sake of spending, so it doesn't get used somewhere else. Don't worry about the tax rates, it's someone else's money. | |
