Supplements are a crap shoot.
When a supplement shows up in a peer reviewed journal, I would trust the findings, especially when this supplement, Berberine, has been evaluated many times in peer reviewed journals using the 'standard' Berberine.
Berberine is Berberine, but with the standard Berberine, a higher dosage is required than for the Berberine Phytosome. I'd rather take one pill than 2x or 3x daily.
Berbevis® Berberine Phytosome is going to cost around $0.50/capsule if bought in 120 count. 50 cents per day is not going to break my piggy bank. Penny wise, pound foolish.... |
