Subject: RE: Repurposing an old bridge?

Western Oregon
The old steel bridge on the road to Blackrock got replaced. It was a 1 lane bridge. It belonged to the city but the county took it off their hands, moved it to the county shops yards. They have another one that gets used as a temporary bridge whenever one gets washed out or old wood bridge collapses or won't pass inspection.. It sat at the city shops after the company that built the new bridge got done. It was moved from the original site and set back up so they could build the new bridge where the old bridge had been. They moved it with a crane, intact and set on the big Lego concrete blocks like used for building walls, placed at both ends....James
