They are great for the feedlot but I would not use one on a calf I planed to sell in 2 months. The swelling makes them look like they are still bulls when running through the ring.
I’m used them on 5 weights I took to 9 weights with no dock at the barn.
Never lost a calf from a burdizzo but I have from banding and knife cutting.
