Not speculation in my usage....a change in stool size...smaller diameter turds...and in a manner of speaking, they are more greasy/slick.
Keep in mind actual dosage...cheap stuff mostly stays in gut, while berberine phytosome sends more in the body. I'd say the cheap berberine causes more problems.
