I take it that your one of those that has to wait and add up scale tickets to get a number on yield?

No, I actually farm and can usually make an estimate within 8-10 bushels. But an estimate made at brown silk means absolutely nothing unless my weather crystal ball works perfectly. You always assume what you see on July 1 is what you will see on October 1. If you had ever actually planted a crop, you would know that isn’t always the case. Since you are nothing more than a washed up trader with many international clients (according to you), you don’t have a clue what actually can and does happen in an actual farm field. Have you ever actually walked in a corn field on a 95 degree day? I spent most of the morning walking fields scouting for tar spot (black tar to you) and GLS. Found both, by the way. Both can have a huge impact on yield. Corn crop looks really good right now, beans are yellow from too much rain, can see every tile line.
You’re welcome to come walk fields with me anytime, but I get to pick the day. I want to make sure you soak your socks inside your Gucci loafers.
