So if the corn crop is made and you want to get a marketing discussion going what do you suggest someone do who has about 2/3 of aph forward contracted at $4.40 average cash but that 2/3 of aph is only about 1/3 of expected production? Would have liked to contract more but this is Kansas where the dryland corn crop isnt made until late August at the earliest because the temps can stay over 80 degrees 24 hours a day for weeks at a time with a humidity that tops out at 30% and a 20 mph south wind that scorches beautiful green corn to crispy yellow-brown in a week?
