NC IL | Probably a long shot and not a good use of time but working on a Jacuzzi gas powered cast iron water pump There's a paper data tag on the body that appears to say it's a model SBM and it was made in 1988. Power is a 3 HP B&S engine.
It was likely in the cold with water in it and the impeller froze... and now the shaft sheared and the bearing is shot so it would need replacement.
Jacuzzi sold this part of their business to Franklin Electric from what I can tell, Franklin Electric has no records or parts for this pump from their response to me. Not had any luck finding parts via an internet search; plus searching on "jacuzzi" gives a lot of non related results.
Pictures attached. The pump body has a casting number of 4972 and the impeller casting number is 4973.
Chances are it's not worth fixing the water pump but wanted to know if anyone knew of a parts source.
