No. The total base acres will be that ratio. Or thats how it was explained to me by fsa. The current base is not retained. Which will be eliminating a lot of wheat, cotton, rice and sorghum base and increasing corn and beans base. They're updating base to reflect what you've been planting. If you plantec oats one time 20 years ago it will not be reflected in your base acres. Only what you've been planting the last 5 years. Which is where the decision lies. Do you accept the extra acres even though you may be losing base acres that have been paying more via plc or arc, or do you decline and not have the extra total base acres until the next update which will be who knows when
