Some interesting thoughts. He has been at it quite a long while. I've only been at it since about 1984 or 5. Long enough to be a part of the 87 crash he takes about. My portfolio was cut in half on Black Monday. I sat tight. Didn't sell but had no money to buy. Two years later it not only gained back the losses, but from my pre crash valuation the portfolio doubled. Probably luck more than skill, but I'll take luck when it comes around.
LOL. Now my portfolio changes daily in greater amounts than what my whole portfolio was worth back then.
Clive doesn't have a gloom and doom attitude, but caution.
I think he makes some sense. Not going to shoot the moon with his attitude, but not going broke either.
