Northern Ohio Grain
I'm not talking about hybrids and inbreds. I'm talking about susceptibility caused by our practices.

Take the common cold. Are all humans hosts for it? Yes. Are all humans susceptible to it? No. Some people never get sick, some people get sick all the time. We are all humans. But we have different susceptibility. Immune systems come in to play. Diets have a huge impact on our immune system.

Can every corn plant be a host for say tar spot? Yes. Is every plant automatically susceptible to it? No. Modern agronomy has hurt the plants "immune system" if you will. We have created nutritional imbalances in the plant, from the Diets modern agronomy has pushed on us.
