The toy is designed for 5 to 10 year olds. The child it was given to was 2. Personally, I don't think 2 year olds should be playing with AI robots, they should be exploring the world, and interacting with other humans like their parents.
I would thank them, put the toy in the closet a few years, and revisit the issue when they got a little older.
If they got the 2 year ols a bicycle, everyone would agree, put it in the garage until the kid is old enough for it. This is something designed for grade school aged kids, when the kid is of that age, it will be more appropriate. | |
