Ya know Easy, your steady drumbeat of you're smarter than everyone else, and the rest of us will never be on your level of agronomy really sounds extremely condescending after a while. I suggest you move South 300 or more miles and spout off all your supposed knowledge. Down here we farm everything from muck bottom ground (some of which is PP this year) to pure sand to wind blown red dirt that washes bad, to heavy grey clay. What we do would have you shortly begging for mercy and forgetting all your better than thou easy farming Minn dirt
If constantly calling out the industrial system and how it's designed to never let us farmers win makes me a Mr. Know-it-all. I'm fine with that. I'll take that badge of honor. I'm tired. I look at all my neighbors that are autoteil auf taking on insane amount of debt, all the risk, putting in the time and the heart into that Farm and to have a system that is designed to make you dependent upon it and reward you with debt and maybe a few pennies.
You bet. Call me all the names you want. I stand behind what I said and I'll keep standing behind what I said.
As far as your little comment about moving south 300 mi, we could get into an argument about who's the bigger victim of their location. You have no knowledge of East Central Minnesota clearly.
But you know what, If I move South 300 miles in a few years I would thrive. Because that's what farmers do. You figure things out? You'll learn you get better. And also I'm a student of soil and agronomy and I've surrounded myself with very smart people that have and still are teaching me.
So now would you would be willing to answer the question about dependency? |
