Maybe the syntax part of it.  What about the critical thinking part of it?

I also have a 2 year old and my teacher wife and I are products from the 80’s so I generally am following you.  My kid doesn’t know what a cartoon is, doesn’t have a learning tablet, and plays with mega blocks and alphabet blocks and magnet tiles and one electronic wheel toy that does the ABC’s in English and Spanish.

I generally smile and thank people for thinking of us and only give additional feedback and commentary if they follow up later.
