Cleveland, MS. Own small farm near Booneville, MS | Interesting map. Looks like Utah has the most variation with North Dakota in second place. Some friends of mine went on one of those Alaska Cruises a few years ago and the local were apologizing to the tourists about it being "so hot." Temps were in the upper 60sF. Might have hit 70. My friends from the MS Delta informed them that they didn't know what "hot" was. My first mission trip to Fiji was in June, 2012. The guy who recruited me for that trip asked me if I would be ok in a hotel with no a/c. He told me that it would be during their "winter" but the daytime temps would still be in the upper 70s to 80s. I chuckled and said, "I'm leaving the MS Delta in June. 70 will feel cool." |
