I read somewhere awhile back that waiting 2 weeks for calves to
acclimate themselves was better than doing it off the truck.
They find feed, water, and settle in.
Sometimes the vaccines made them go through a sweat before they
were ready to handle it.
It was a study by some university.
Not sure if it's right or wrong
