How low are wheat acres historically? I see lower than last year but what about 10 years ago? Will the acres ever come back
The report was kind of friendly.. 100 myn less corn bu than the average guess.. however, 652 myn more vs June 1st 2025..
Minny +108
Iowa + 83
ND +80
Nebr +66
Ill +54
Ks +52
SD + 46
Wisky +40
Acreage 3.5 myn less vs last year..
Iowa and SD both down 550 k
Minny and Wisky both down 350
Nebr down 250
Ill down 100
Ohio up 100
Ks up 200 but down 300 on Sorghum.. however, 7.05 myn corn acres exceed 6.9 myn sown to wheat.. if this holds.. that’ll be a first since 1890’s ish. Young bucks don’t want to report acres.. and don’t want to plant poverty grass.. Wheat. Darn sure don’t want to plant sorghum
We still need HR 1346 and nation wide E 15.
