Subject: GP Turbo till VS Salford RTS

Saronville NE
Have ran both of these machines now, they both do a nice job, planted behind the Salford today, worked good for the conditions, cloudy damp day trash wouldnt cut up as well as we liked and just muck underneath, but did leave a good seedbed for the conditions, tubo tilled some ground week and half ago but havnet planted it yet, but looked nice. The one thing is the Salford sure pulled easier 24ft on a MX 215 at 9-9.5 mph and wasnt working it hard at 2 1/2=3 in deep, the 22ft turbo till on 8245R was all I could do to hold 9 mph on the flat and 6.5 in any incline at all, the JD is a bigger tractor so what makes the Salford pull easier? What else is there to compare between the 2? TIA
