South Central IA | I think you have the measure of it, kids don't know how to work simply because most of them have never been taught. Sure some never will, and they grow up to be the useless adults we all know. Most everyone on here grew up with Dad's boot in your butt, so you get it. You weren't getting a wage, just surviving the boot situation.
Your average town kid has no idea. Pay enough that the kids see the value in the work and you might have to get in the mix and teach them a bit. You want em to work like a man, you better pay em like one and treat them like one. $20 would be low side here for that kind of work. | |
