NC Iowa | I wasn't aiming the commit at you personally. I hear people say all the time that kids don't know how to work today. I'm just saying there are some great workers out there. You just teach them a few things. Don't get me wrong, yes, there are some kids out there that have no ambition or common sense. I would say way over half the kids I hire I would consider good workers.
As far as wages, I believe that it isn't the most important thing. A good work experience is very important. good equipment. clear goals. know what is expected from them. Also lead by example, if they see how hard you work they will try and match you. I do try and pay good. It is hard to figure how much to pay but I figure if I over pay it is going to a kid that at least came out to work. | |
