NC Iowa | I have been hiring high school kids for 20 years to help on the farm. Mostly to pick up rocks. I'll bet everyone one of them would be excited if I told them we were baling hay. Most of these kids have little to no farm back ground. They need to be taught how to do most things. Not everyone is a good teacher. If every kids you get is a poor worker maybe it isn't the kid? There are great kids out there willing to work hard and wages don't matter. | |
