I don’t know what the right answer is but I will say it looks like hay stacking wages at least have done more inflation than inflation itself.
$5-$6 an hour and some Coca Colas that you didn’t want depending on the farm 25-30 years ago and 800-1200 bales a day were common
Makes you really wonder how people sell hay for $3-$4 a bale yet.
I couldnt agree more! I wish i could have worked for some of these guys back when i did a bunch of hay. |
