Dad said the farm at Belltrees had corn like 8 or 10 rows out from tree line center of field cooked
tassel turned it white in 1 day . The farm up here that was my grandparents it cooked all the corn
not trees around field .
He also said it was not super dry that summer just super hot for a while in tassel.
But Tom the seed corn then was just corn compared today.
100 bu was big deal on average .
But the tassel is real secceptable to that kind heat
