Jmo but a key to really high yields may be how long you can keep sun to the first 6 or so lower nodal trifoliates. The bottom nodes tend to contribute less to yield than the middle and upper nodes. Could that be a function of or lack of sunlight to the lower trifoliates? Its something im possibly seeing in our march planted beans where the stand is thin.
Because it leaves zero room for error. Throwing 20,000-30,000 more out there is cheap insurance.
