NE Iowa | Neighbor has some oats that will get combined soon. Thinking about renting the ground from him and coming back in with an oat/forage turnip mix to strip graze off with cow-calf pairs late September’ish. Located in NE Iowa - anybody have any experience coming in with a forage mix after oats? Open to hearing ideas on different mixes and how much $ to compensate the neighbor with.
