West Central MN | The original question was around perceived durability problems with the IVT. Don't see how swapping a hydraulic motor for an electric one would have a huge impact either way on the life of the powershift side of the transmission shared with both. If IVT issues are from the hydraulic pump and motor side, then potentially an electric generator and motor would be better but they also have their own trade-offs. | |
