Surprise 2” here today. I remember hearing that if you took the lower two rows of counties in MN and tthe top two rows in IA, it would be the #1 corn producing “state” in the nation.
The old rule is I80 to I90. South a bit in across Illinois and stop 50 miles into Nebraska and that corner of South Dakota.
Outside of that, what happens outside of that doesn’t matter. We now get to include Mata Grosso, Brazil from a production standpoint. |
