I don't know where you're located and you coyly avoid clarifying, but your photos are not from NE IL. Why someone would not spray the perimeter first is beyond me. Laziness I presume.

I'm also trying to figure out how you get the "dead brown vs lush green" contrasts. We don't see that either in corn or beans. 

Are all your hand-selected photos from corn? No beans? 

Most of all, your credibility seems deeply questioned by many others.
