It honestly gets to a point it isn't worth dealing with small squares if you are paying wages like that to put away and take out a commodity crop. Now if you have an incredible horse hay market you can charge triple going rate then by all means the numbers work and make dealing with intermittent (and often unreliable) labor worth the hassle.
