North Central In. | I want to Thank Everyone for your thoughts, as a lot of you out there that got to much rain it is discouraging, we have a lot of pete muck and we got it planted in good shape was a little wet but went in nice came up in 5 days and luckily we missed any heavy rain for several weeks after planting, it looked absolutely fabulous, had deep dark green color had nitrogen applied everything looking great, then 1 by 1 started getting 2 1/2" then another 1" and another 1 1/2" in one week, then after week the color started going to pale yellow, then the following week cooler than normal temps, with several rounds of light to moderate rain, we have lot tile lines but they only draw about 20ft or so lot of great looking corn on top of tile lines, need to system tile whole field. I have never sprayed Liberty on corn till yesterday afternoon; there is a 25 acre high spot in center of field, I could not make it across field with only half tank on, so I headed to hi spot and sprayed it and just turned around, the corn on hi spot is definitely 30" plus it looks great and is not stressed, the rest of the 120 acre field about 1/2 of it is stressed and lot shorter in between tile lines. This is what makes me also concerned is if liberty is even going to be harder on stressed corn and set it back more. Had thought about hooking up a couple cultivators and trying to take some of weeds out and get some air in ground, but until next few days would be earliest to even start to pull a cultivator, which we have not done for years, will talk to my chemical guy tomorrow, I don't think he has a lot of experience with liberty on corn that's why I ask you guys, lot of knowledgeable and experience helps.
