They already answered your question but I was interested to see that the gearbox is the same as Deere has been using.
We ran SERVIS and then RHINO cutters for several decades back when they were built hell for stout with keyed tapers on all the shafts. They were bullet proof until one ever came loose. Once the taper surfaces weren’t perfect they never lasted long again.
Do you need to time the gearbox on a 3 section batwing mower?
