Pell Lime is a right now short fix... Ag Lime is best way... Many years ago we ran Pell Lime through insecticde boxes as a trial on soybeans, the ground needed a boost but it was just a experment... It did make better beans but it was so long ago I can remember how much... So Pell Lime is a tool for quick fix for one growing season, but you will pay more for it... It will ROI if soils are low... Then spread Ag Lime...
