 East of Broken Bow | You have to realize these are 'experts' who run numbers through different formulas until they get the result they want.
I've seen it with my own eyes, where I was told that the (illegal) migrant population is 'vibrant' and adding 'economic value' to a community, while at the same time running the schools and hospitals broke from having to provide services for them, while also watching the neighborhood go from a place your kids could walk to the park whenever they wanted to, to a place where doors are always locked, and bars get added to windows.
But then again, I guess one could argue that the migrant population brought a lot of money into poor neighborhoods in Minneapolis, but I wouldn't say it happened in a way that really benefitted the community. | |
