Hooker Twp,Ne | I remember back when I was 10 yrs of age my dad had a beautiful looking field of corn south of the house first part of August. That’s when corn was planted in May vs the April time frame now. Temps got up to 100 degrees and a hot south wind and within four days that field of corn was gone. I admit we have corn that can stand drought somewhat better now but that even only last so long. And I suppose if an AI center came to your door and offered you 5x what your land was worth you’d sell it to them.
