SW WI | The old stanchion barn dairy days and making small squares. Neither me or my wife were ever on the baling tractor. It was unloading in the hot sun or in the hay mow under the tin roof. Drink as much water as you can in as short time as you can, possible wash off chaff…..but you had better get to the field with the empty wagon and not keep dad waiting….
That could turn an already tough day into a new level.
Water was what quenched ….. I didn’t care much for kool aid or soda under those conditions.
