A quick search showed a 24 hp Kohler at Surplus Center for $700 + freight. Their freight can be a little excessive but I usually buy something there every year for cheap. We had a Z665 with the Briggs for over 300 hrs and only had to replace the crank seal. Was pleasantly surprised it was a great engine. Still running good for the neighbor who bought it last year.
