Apparently my mower seen my thread about grasshopper mowers a couple weeks ago......... z655 with the kawasaki engine blew up this morning, 248 hours. Replace with another kawasaki? Briggs? Does Honda make a vertical shaft in the 25ish hp range? Or just scrap it? Mower is nice but do i spend $2000+ for an engine in a mower thats probably only worth $3000 when i get it done?
