I’ve baled and cut a bunch in 110 degrees with cab tractors and no AC. I’ve thought many times about taking a hammer to the windows in my old 1070 case.
Isn’t there a song about if you’re gonna be dumb you gotta be tough? Or in my case cheap and dumb. Soon as that old dog quits I’m gonna go north and try to find a 2090 that’s descent.
The door and right side and back windows always came off our Case 1170 in the summer when I was a kid.
In retrospect, I think I got my first solo field work job because nobody else wanted to sit in there disking down hot dry wheat stubble.
