SW Minnesota
That makes sense. you would be able to empty that much water in 15minutes. Every situation depends on the geology under ground. The next thing to check is to watch how fast water takes to come up to 8 feet after you empty it again. I have a 70 foot well on my yard. 27 years ago I was thinking about putting up a 4000 head hog finisher. I called a well guy and asked how to tell if I had enough well. He told me to measure the level of the water then let a hydrant run measure the flow. I came up with 10 gallons/minute. I let it run for 10 hrs. Then shut the hydrant . He said the speed that the well comes back tells you how good the well is. My well water went from 15 to 30 feet down. then came back to 15 in an hour or so. I put up the barns and got by with that well for 15 years. The well driller guranteed me that if dug another well closer to the hog barns I would have to go at least 400 feet deep. 12 years ago we dug a new well closer to the barns and thats what it took. In Minnesota all permitted wells have a record with the state as to the date and depth. If your state does this it might help you figure out what to do.
