Are you using this signal wire to go directly to the electric brakes, or is it being used as a signal wire to an electric brake controller?
Might need to have this signal wire activate a relay that would then feed the controller? There wouldn't be much amperage in that brake light circuit.
Whatever you do, I wouldn't butcher any factory wiring, but that's just me.
Signal wire for brake controller. I belive power for the controller has its own source. thanks |
