Ask fsa for good faith variance. You didn’t know before. Your landlord probably didn’t either as he never was in farm program. Tell them you’ll talk to landlord and do best you can with landlord. Don’t farm or remove anything from 18 acres. If you paid landlord cash rent upfront there chance you maybe out for 18 acres was this year. Good landlord will make it right. I wud think once there good faith variance in fsa hands they would be willing to work with you. Good Luck
