PVC is cheaper last time I priced it. I am sure if I was doing the priming and glueing, my knees and body would say hdpe. Last one of length was pvc and I was tired of the prep and glue and wished I had used hdpe. Hdpe is higher per foot and quality fittings add up also. Don't put cheap ones on it.
